adidas x MidWest Kids Capsule Collection

College vibe and Retro Style, discover the new adidas x MidWest Kids collection

Founded by Darryl Brown – ex stylist of the legendary Kanye WestMidwest Kids is an independent label, reflecting the college vibe of the US’ Midwest.

As Brown explains, the inspiration for the brand came from meeting people from other parts of the United States who viewed the Midwest as a different country.

MidWest Kids is strongly linked to the university campus style, unknowingly imitated by the so-called Flyover States – that is, those that are in the middle between the two coasts of the Atlantic and the Pacific.

Darryl Brown elevates the style of training shirts, sweatshirts with the local team logo or gym shorts into something stylish and unique.

The collaboration adidas x MidWest Kids is made up of modernized classic pieces, inspired by the adidas heritage but with elements in the Campus style of MidWest Kids.

From the tees to the sneakers with patches, everything you’ll see in these pack speaks of a somewhat melancholy aesthetic, also underlined by a strongly retro color palette: bright red, ocher yellow and black.

The Pack also offers an exclusive Forum 82 Low: the model combines the history of adidas with the creative vision of MidWest Kids, through a play of colors and contrasting materials, as well as the logo of Rogers Toledo High School, former school of Darryl .
