adidas Originals and Human Made FW20 Drop 2

Alongside adidas, visionary creative and archivist NIGO serves up drop two in the adidas Originals by Human Made collection. NIGO’s eye for heritage apparel is channeled through Human Made’s designs for adidas, which make use of vintage sporting references, as well as items from NIGO’s personal collection.

A special graphic logo can be found throughout, created by the Human Made team exclusively for the adidas Originals by Human Made collection. The partnership aims to look towards the future of creation under the message “Future is in the past.”

The second collection for the season offers two additional footwear styles, complimented by a broader selection of apparel, including technical garments and heritage denim.

The Marathon HM is informed by archival shoes, with the Marathon’s trail-inspired upper sitting atop a BOOST sole unit. Nubuck panels on the upper are rendered in two vintage colorways, which take cues from Marathon Trainers in the adidas archive. Logo placement of Human Made’s exclusive heart logo for adidas can be found the heel.

The accompanying Nizza Hi is based on heritage styling, with a canvas upper and rubber outsole. The zip lining features Japanese Katakana text translating to “adidas by NIGO.” HUMAN MADE exclusive heart logos wraps the midsole, while a zipper-closure can be found on the medial side.

A matching jacket and vest are each equipped with a tube hidden in the left chest, which allows the garment to be inflated. 2-way access pockets are featured on both the jacket and vest, as well as a front zip closure, Katakana text on the zip tape/teeth, and exclusive heart logo on the left chest.

Included in the collection is a denim set, featuring a blazer and jeans in deep indigo hues. The jeans feature a waist drawcord, and classic 5-pocket design, with the addition of a painter pocket on the right leg, which is perfectly sized for smart phones. A three-stripe graphic appears on the right hip pocket. The blazer features a similarly classic design, with three flap pockets on the front body, and the update of a zipper-closure detail on the cuffs and side vents.

Building on FW20 drop 1, the apparel in drop two includes items like a high neck sweatshirt, buttoned shirt, knitted vest, and cap.
