Rooted in workwear style, but crafted under the banner of eclecticism, the new Carhartt Wip SS23 collection suggests atmospheres that come from 1990s New York and the metal of Detroit’s industries.

The collection consists of basic garments, but full of fascinating details, such as contrasting triple stitching, clean lines, silhouettes reminiscent of Carhartt’s 1990s archive.

Special attention was paid to the fabrics used: Dearborn Canvas, denim, Twill and natural cotton; all fibers that guarantee durability, strength and versatility, but also eco-durability and biodegradability.

The New Carhartt Wip Spring Summer 2023 Collection brings out essential graphics, blocks of saturated colors, such as the explosion of vibrant blue on the Detroit jacket, lightweight shirts with graphic prints, and – traced here and there – a certain Ivy League style, evoked by the white collars on polo shirts and the prints applied on T-Shirts and knitwear.

A Mix-and-Match between industrial, workwear and preppy aesthetics that as a result gives a combination of functional garments ready to explore different suggestions, the silhouettes refer to outerwear, but are made of soft cotton fabrics.
