Nike’s new international shipping policy will change the Sneakers Game forever?

After several months of rumors, Nike has announced the prohibition its retail partners from shipping Nike products internationally, defined by as, “outside their trade territory.”

Therefore, a company will no longer be able to sell and ship nike shoes outside of its continent, never more.

Nike’s announce sounds like this: “This communication is to inform you that effect January 1, 2020 Nike will not permit international shipping (defined as shipping outside of your trading territory) of Nike products to consumers.

Shipping to consumers internationally is in violation of Nike Terms & Conditions of Sale. Violation of Nike’s distribution policies may result in corrective actions up to and including discontinuing Retailer access to Nike product.”

Company policies aside, we want to emphasize how and how much this decision will change the game of sneakers: releases as Japan-Only or US-Only could they will be a distant memory.

Do you think this news will affect the sneaker game? Let us know in the comments.

We of blackboxstore.com, as part of Nike’s brand retail partners, want to inform our clients that all shipments outside the European continten are blocked, till subject to various provisions by Nike.
