The multi-talented K-pop artist G-DRAGON has hit the news again for his collab with Nike.
Ladies & Gentlemen the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise 2.0”
Let’s take a step back.
G-DRAGON is a Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer, to put it simple, a pure artist. Around the same period of last year he released another Air Force 1 in collaboration with Nike and the drop was a major success. That was the first chapter of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1.
Yeah right, who’s PEACEMINUSONE?
As mentioned, G-DRAGON is also a fashion designer and PEACEMINUSONE is his fashion label, very popular in Korea and become famous for its artistic take on fashion.
Created with wear-away panels on the white leather uppers, this AF-1 features G-Dragon’s own personal artwork underneath. Black flowers are embroidered on the tongues, while the sole unit is brushed with industrial of black paint.
The inspiration for this collab comes from a G-DRAGON’s concept, “Youtopia” as himself says “I dream of every one of you expressing yourselves freely in the Youtopia that you create for yourselves.’ Nuff said.
