Daily Paper, the Streetwear Brand inspired by the rich African Culture.

The New SS24 Collection is available Online and In-Store.

Amsterdam, 2012.

Hussein Suleiman, Jefferson Osei, and Abderrahmane Trabsini, three childhood friends, founded Daily Paper, a street style blog that evolved into a streetwear brand, deeply rooted in their African heritage.

The brand aims to celebrate the rich heritage of African Culture by blending it with contemporary design, creating a unique yet strongly identity-driven mix. With just two collections a year (a conscious and eco-friendly choice), Daily Paper offers deliberately timeless styles to stay ever relevant, spanning from ready-to-wear to accessories.

Daily Paper enriches its collections with nods, patterns, and colors typical of Africa, making those colorful and bold patterns its distinctive point, yet without losing its street roots in urban culture.

Since 2015, it has also begun creating women’s collections, drawing stylistic references from Kenya and other regions of Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2017, it collaborated with Puma for an incredible capsule inspired by African football: their combined efforts led to the construction of a football field for the Accra Senior Girls School, a girls’ school in Ghana, demonstrating that its commitment lies not only in fashion but above all in culture.

Philosophy of the Daily Paper brand

With its patterns and its eco-sustainable ethic, what is the concept behind Daily Paper?

The Amsterdam-based brand aims to reflect and make people reflect on the journey of an individual raised in a foreign land. The ability to adapt to a foreign rhythm, which does not belong to them, internalize it, and manifest it positively.

Like a resident of a hypothetical diaspora, in an undefined part of the world, the person dressed by Daily Paper has the need to carry with them the graphic signs, colors, and identity cuts of their cultural roots. Since the space they are in is temporary, there is a lack of sense of belonging: the search for a natural, welcoming, and comfortable rhythm becomes essential. The natural rhythm is found at home and within one’s own community.

For the SS24 season, the Dutch Streetwear brand focused on prints and graphics showing a mass of people finding their rhythm and living in harmony with the rhythms of others, reflecting the essence of the Daily Paper community. This rhythm translates into coordinated jackets and trousers, hoodies, T-shirts, and enveloping cardigans.

What enlivens the wardrobe of the Spring Summer 2024 collection are the new patterns and graphic details alongside the most varied silhouettes. The flagship pieces of the new collection include a textured rust-colored tracksuit, a coordinated set in deep blue denim with embossed Daily Paper logo details.
