The NBA Star Russel Westbrook’s Streetwear brand is an encouragement to “Honor the Gift”

From playmaker of the Los Angeles Lakers team to fashion trend setter, Russel Westbrook founded – since 2017 – his first streetwear label – Honor the Gift – and also rediscovered himself as a successful entrepreneur.

Honor the Gift refers to the “gift” which fate wanted to give him – and to many guys like him – in being born with a body structure already predisposed to be a champion.

In fact, the brand is an exhortation to devote one’s life to sport with passion, rejecting all “easy” views of delinquency and addiction that the ghetto can offer to all guys who live in there.

Westbrook becomes ambassador and witness of the social redemption that only sport can offer, with sacrifices and great dedication.

The latest collection is Fall / Winter 21 is inspired by the song that was the ‘soundtrack’ of Westbrook’s childhood – Inner City Love – and all moments when with his family he listened Soul and Funky records from the 60s, 70s and 80s

New Honor The Gift capsule is made up of garments strongly influenced by vintage aesthetics, in intertwined knitted fabrics, patterns and graphics with modern and structured lines, with warm colors.
