Colm Dillane, the artist and founder of the KidSuper streetwear brand, continues to explore his artistic journey with a positive mindset.
His latest creation, the KidSuper FW23 collection, is the result of an in-depth exploration of color, materials, and design. Dillane has distilled the distinctive trait of his artistic painting to its essence, giving life to a collection composed of essential streetwear pieces, adorned with contrasting faces, atmospheres, and tones.
Dillane’s art harmoniously merges to evoke a playful atmosphere; each piece in the collection exudes positive vibes, a philosophy embraced by Colm Dillane both as an artist and a designer, which he has infused into his brand.
The new “Funny Business” collection consists of classic items such as high-neck sweaters, six-button parkas, full-button cardigans, and fabric pants, all designed to spread a healthy dose of positivity on the streets of our metropolises.
When you’re Colm Dillane and the founder of a brand like KidSuper, even fashion shows become an endless explosion of creativity. In this spirit, he invited 1,500 people, including friends and insiders, as well as anyone who wanted to attend his autumn runway show at Casino de Paris.
This event transformed into a Stand-up Comedy evening hosted by Tyra Banks, with guest comedians donning pieces from the autumn ’23 collection.
“Look at the turnout; I believe these are all the people who couldn’t get into the Louis Vuitton show,” exclaimed Jeff Ross, dressed in an outfit he described as “perfect for a fishing trip with Elton John.”
Presenting his fall/winter collection on non-models was his way of bringing his creations closer to “regular people.” The evening itself demonstrated that fashion is as much an attitude as it is a desirable product.
