It was 1996 when Tommy Hilfiger, at the peak of his success, launched the significant capsule collection “International Games” during the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Almost 30 years later, the brand has decided to revive those iconic styles that characterized the first edition of the collection, involving athletes like Stefon Diggs, Deja Kelly, Aori Nishimura, and Mick Schumacher for its campaign titled “Team Tommy“.
The Tommy Jeans International Games SS24 collection offers a wardrobe of 41 archival pieces with inclusive unisex models.
The global sports calendar will determine the style and pop culture of 2024, with events like the Olympics, European football championships, and other major competitions such as Formula 1 shaping street style trends, blending sports pieces with classic casual wear.
The Tommy Jeans International Games collection attracts attention for its vibrant colors, from classic red, white, and blue tones to bright hues like yellow and green, reflecting, as Hilfiger himself says, “the unity of continents in the world of sports”.
The proposal includes color-blocked jackets and t-shirts, striped rugby shirts, iconic regatta jackets, basketball-inspired mesh tops labeled “TOMMY 85“, and varsity jackets reminiscent of the brand’s 90s archive.
To mark the launch of this extraordinary collection, we at Black Box have partnered with Tommy Jeans to organize an exclusive party at the PalaBarbuto in Naples: the basketball arena will see the participation of the Naples basketball team, talents, friends, family, and special clients, all showcasing the pieces from the new Tommy Jeans collection.
Discover the collection online and in-store.
